A LITTLE ABOUT US
Coaching was a natural progression for us from working professionally as actors and singers. We take immense pride in having worked consistently after graduating and our interest in the voice (spoken and sung) has grown ever since.
We have a fierce love for all forms of theatre and music. Sharing that with our students is such a joy. Whether they are beginners or real experts, we thrive on seeing them all grow and develop, as they discover new aspects of their voices and capabilities as performers, and helping them achieve their potential.

WHATS MY FIRST LESSON LIKE?
We’ll talk a little about you, what your experience is (if any) and why you’re looking for lessons. We’ll go through some exercises which will help me to asses your voice and how I will be best approaching our sessions. The first lesson is just as much for me as it is for you. I want you to feel comfortable and relaxed. Your voice is a very personal thing, so it’s important you are happy and safe with me. This is the case for singing and spoken lessons.
SHOULD I PREPARE SOMETHING?
If you feel confident to do so, yes. It should be something you feel very comfortable with and have sung for a good amount of time. The purpose of this would be for me to get a clearer understanding of your voice in performance. If you're unsure, just bring yourself and we will muddle through together. There is no pressure either way.
Spoken Sessions: an extract from a book or a poem are great. A Monologue will work too, as long as you know it well, but it is not necessary. I just want to hear your voice.
DO I NEED TO READ MUSIC?
Not necessarily. Most people listen and learn via ear, so reading music is definitely not a necessity. But if your wanting to look at grades or move towards working professionally it is more of a necessity. I can help you improve this if you want to.
DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS?
Yes. Online lessons are reduced, I offer a discount for students as well as block bookings which also reduces the price of the individual lessons.
